Did you know there are 3 different soil types at Makauri School? Some of us wondered why it was wet in certain areas of our playground. Was that to do with having different soil types? We dug down to find out! Some soil was crumbly and some was 'sticky'. We also noticed the soil was different colours deeper down. Was this the reason it was wetter in some places? How can we experiment to find out? We hope you are all looking forward to Triathlon tomorrow. Please note that the Hub assembly for tomorrow is for Hub Year 6 children only but all families are welcome to attend. The hub Year 4 and 5's will host you next Friday 24th with their assembly. The Year 6 assembly will begin at 1:45 pm.
A huge thanks to Mr Davies and Mr Chamberlain and the support they received from our senior students to get our cycles assembled ready for the cycle track.
Thank you Bella. We're looking forward to seeing more of them! Thanks Julia - It has been awesome to see your creativity and design skills after reading "Cold Pressed"
